I’ve (finally) come up with a workable feature to present here on T-Sides, and I’m calling it “Lost MP3 of the Week.” What does this mean, do you ask? Well, allow me to explain.

As you can probably guess, I have a ton of music. Probably not enough to rival with the collection of a die-hard music nerd or dying to impress hipster, but probably more than the average music listener. Because I am constantly acquiring music, either through reading other blogs, purchasing CDs or the very rare/occasional freebie, it makes it hard to keep up with what I’ve already collected. How do you continue to appreciate all of the old and still thorougly digest the new? It’s a difficult balance. Sometimes I’ll download something from a blog only to forget about it until a month or so later. Other times, I’ll buy a CD and listen to it for days on end. Mostly, I just put iTunes on random and see what pops up. I also have a playlist of all the songs that have a playcount of 0, and I find that helps, too.

For the “Lost MP3 of the Week,” I’ll feature a song that I’ve recently discovered or rediscovered. It’s as simple as that. I’m not going to give you a specific day, because, frankly, I need flexibility, but I will have one every week (and it will probably be more towards the middle of the week).

I already have the first song picked out – it will be up tomorrow/Thursday!
