Is it really almost over? Am I really leaving tomorrow?
We blazed a hot trail through the islands. Each stop gave us just a few hours to get a feel for each island, thus the internet was not even close to being a priority. I’ve written things down in my journal to capture the dreamy haze of the absolute happiness that has been this past week, and once I return to the east coast (tomorrow), I’ll type up a few things out of that, as well as link to pictures, and, of course, type up a retrospective.
I’m really not ready to leave. Not only am I not wanting to leave Greece, I’m not ready to leave behind the people on this tour. It’s been a different dynamic than the last tour, but special in its own way. I’ve only had a week with these new friends, and even still, it truly hurts to be leaving some of them.
I just realized that I’ve been saying that I’m excited not to be living out of a suitcase, but that’s exactly what I’ll be doing for the next couple of months. The difference is that it will be on the East Coast instead of in Europe.
See you soon, East Coast.
