Dammit. Anyway, hi! Long time no speak, and excellent year-end reviews as always. Couldn't agree more with Deerhunter and Wolf Parade, and I have neglected my love for Tv on the Radio due to other distractions I was enamored with. Need to check out ASAP. It seems that this year, there are two teams: those who love Bon Iver and those who love Fleet Foxes. I don't seem to hear a lot of both. I enjoy both in moderation, but there's been such an explosion of love for Fleet Foxes that I'm still wondering where the hell it's coming from, and why. They're...fine, I guess? It's pretty much an awesome listening experience every time. Glad to know one more person who didn't like Kanye's album... I find myself in a serious minority where that's concerned. Pattern is Movement was one of those albums where something just clicked with me - it took a couple intent listens - but I feel a strong connection to that record.
