I'd say the most aggregious absence from the Best of is the lack of any rarities, demos, etc. Including a rarity would have provided a reason for fans who already own the entire Radiohead catalog to express interest in this Best of collection. I'd say the unreleasaed song "Lift" (a studio or a live version) would have been an excellent addition to the Best of. Lift would have been perfect because it is an excellent song: catchy, but still featuring all of the qualities that have made Radiohead great. Additionally, it is a popular live track, and fans of Radiohead have long enjoyed live versions of the song, such as the version from the Landgraaf Festival in 1996. There is even a great video shot at the concert that could have been included on the DVD. Finally, an unreleased track would have been perfect as Radiohead fans are infamous for their obsession with everything Radiohead has even recorded. This track would offer a glimpse as to the reason for that obsession to casual fans as well. This Bends-era unreleased track would have sparked my interest in the collection.

I'd love to have seen You and Whose Army on the best of. To me this is the quintessential song off of Amnesiac. It's sinister and memorable. The song is an answer to the "holy Roman Empire" mindset of the Bush Administration. To me You and Whose Army is a call to arms for Radiohead nation to get involved politically and change the world. It's a ying to revolutionary charge of The National Anthem's yang. One of the most popular songs that deserves to be on The Best of.

There There. The way Thom Yorke sings "I'm lonely" is exactly how it sounds in my head when I'm lonely. Hits right in the sweet spot.
