It's weird, the first time I listened through it, I didn't think it was anything THAT special. Then I listened to it a few more times, and for some odd reason I just fell in love with it. I know it's not really one of the top albums of the year (or for that matter Rilo Kiley's best album), but I ended up listening to it more than "Neon Bible" or LCD Soundsystem's new album. Another album that stayed a long time in my CD player: "Obligatory Villagers". That's right, Nellie McKay's new one. I fully admit it's not her best work at all ("Pretty Little Head" is better), and I fully admit the album has problems...but God damn I was addicted to it. believe it or not, yeah.
