		<description>the rosebuds upped the beat a little on &quot;birds make good neighbors&quot;, though it was still in a folky vein (and one of my favorite albums of 2005). the new album, though, is quite a departure. i like them a lot.

i hear elements of beirut &amp; the rosebuds in the bowerbirds track you posted. i&#039;ll most likely pick it up.

going back to an earlier post, &quot;seems like home to me&quot; was one of the newer songs two gallants worked into their setlist at sasquatch. it sounded really good live &amp; fit in perfectly with the older material.</description>

		<description>It&#039;s funny that JAMC was one of my favorite bands way back when, but I had never seen them live before.  In fact, I don&#039;t think I had ever seen pictures of them, but I absolutely loved their music.

So, the other night, I was up late and happened to catch them playing on the David Letterman show.  It was...um...interesting to see them.  I never would have guessed that they would be so...well...normal looking!

Love the new stuff though!</description>
