I have to chuckle reading "had an impressively large amount of the audience singing along, considering that most of them were older than 40. " Yes, even us old people can appreciate a great rock song (especially when their teen kid is listening to it and we're secretly diggin' it.) I have yet to see Patti, one of my rock heroes, but I'll get to it this year, I hope. Great post.
