[...] Welcome, friends, to another T-Sides movie review! I meant to follow my last one up with a review of Factotum, but life happens and one gets distracted. (If you like Bukowski, you’ll probably like it, if you don’t, you probably won’t. How’s that?) Now there are newer films in our theaters, and so shall I review one.
I loved the movie, but when "Cobra Starship" came on at the end, I had only one thought:

"Get me the Black Eyed Peas!"

"They're not available"

"Very well, get me their non-union Mexican equivalent!"

Nice blog, and you do like Steely Dan. You like them a LOT.

exactly -- as hilarious and awesome as that would've been, it was even more hilarious and awesome that Snakes On A Plane was indeed about Snakes On A Plane.

I had the exact same thoughts about the opening of Snakes of a Plane. I saw Hawaii and right away I just couldn't help but think there would be no snakes on a plane. I mean, it would be brilliant, and would explain why the snakes looked so bad, because they wouldn't have really been made for movie, just the trailer. But oh man, thank god it wasn't the case. Becuase it was the first movie in some time that I felt satisfied after leaving the theater.
