dude, yes. whooly muffler and jack the lion were my favorite songs in high school. and this album was ironically enough (as it was purchased from one of those cd catalogs) my first real introduction to seattle indie rock.

I like Pike St/Park Slope, too and I like the Tale of Two Cities approach.

I remember listening to Pike St./Park Slope in my hotel room one Christmas in Seattle. I was never a fan of the band, but that song really resonated with me. It’s a strong memory.
